The Brief

Entertainment That Actually Works a Business Room

Corporate rooms are hard. Half the guests don't know each other, the other half are avoiding someone. A stage act asks everyone to sit down and face the same direction — which is exactly the wrong instinct at a networking reception.

Strolling close-up magic does the opposite. I move between groups, gather three or four people who have never spoken, and hand them something impossible. Ninety seconds later they're talking to each other instead of to me. That's the actual product: a room that mixes.

Where this fits

Trade show booths. The problem with a booth is footfall that doesn't stop. Magic stops people, holds a crowd, and hands them to your team warm. Booth work is a specific skill — short, repeatable, loud enough to draw and quick enough to hand off.

Hospitality suites. During CES, conference weeks and convention season, guests rotate through a suite all day. Short interactive sets give people a memorable few minutes without interrupting the conversations you actually invited them for.

Awards dinners and holiday parties. Table-to-table during dinner service, or a seated mentalism set once plates are cleared.

Client entertaining. A small dinner where you need the evening to feel like an occasion without a hard sell.

The practical part

Fully insured at $100,000 — certificate of insurance available on request, which most Las Vegas venues will ask for. Sets run 30 minutes to four hours. Material is clean by default and matched to the room. Rooms of 20 to 500.

Las Vegas rate starts at $1,500. Los Angeles from $2,000 with travel included rather than added as a surprise line item.

I highly recommend V for any event that you would need a magician. We had him perform at our tradeshow booth. He communicated well before the event, was punctual and his performance was excellent. You won't be disappointed.

He had the entire room laughing and at the same time, in awe with his tricks! He was up-close and personal, and we still couldn't figure out how he did what he did!

Before You Ask

Questions Worth Answering

Do you have liability insurance?

Yes — $100,000 standard coverage. Most Las Vegas convention venues and corporate clients require a certificate of insurance before load-in, and I can provide one on request.

How does trade show booth magic work?

I perform short, repeatable close-up sets at the front of your booth. Magic stops foot traffic and holds a crowd long enough for your team to start a conversation. I can work your product or messaging into the routine if you want the crowd qualified rather than just entertained.

How long should we book you for?

Strolling sets typically run two to three hours for a reception. Trade show days usually work best in blocks with breaks — four hours of continuous booth work is punishing for everyone. Anything from 30 minutes to four hours is possible.

What does it cost?

Las Vegas corporate rates start at $1,500. Los Angeles starts at $2,000 with travel included. Final quote depends on duration, guest count and venue.

Do you need a stage, microphone or AV support?

For strolling magic, none of it. No stage, no sound, no lighting, no setup time. For a seated mentalism set I'll want a microphone if the room is large, and that's it.

Is the material appropriate for executives and clients?

Yes. Clean by default. Tell me whether it's a client dinner or a holiday party after two hours of open bar and I'll pitch it accordingly — those are different rooms.

How far in advance should we book?

Convention weeks and December fill early — 30 to 90 days is ideal. Outside those windows shorter notice is often fine.
