I lived and worked in Los Angeles before Las Vegas, and I still take LA dates regularly. It’s a four-hour drive, which makes it a genuine second market rather than an occasional favour.
What LA gets is a repertoire built somewhere unusually demanding: thirteen years in a twenty-five seat speakeasy back room, three nights a week, performing for whoever walked through the door. No stage to hide behind, no edit, no second take. That room sharpens material faster than almost anything else.
What LA books me for
Corporate events. Conference receptions, client dinners, holiday parties and product launches. Strolling close-up between groups, or a seated mentalism set as the centrepiece.
Private events. Milestone birthdays, dinner parties, and the kind of evening where the host wants something guests genuinely haven’t seen before.
Weddings. Cocktail hour especially — the hour you’ll spend being photographed while a hundred guests stand around holding a drink.
How LA bookings work
Los Angeles events start at $2,000, with travel built into that number rather than added afterwards. If the schedule needs an overnight, I’ll say so upfront when I quote.
Fully insured at $100,000, certificate available for any venue that requires one. As with Las Vegas, nothing is needed from your venue — no stage, no sound, no setup.
Because LA dates involve travel, they’re worth locking in earlier than a local booking. If you have a date in mind, ask.

Do you actually travel to Los Angeles, or is this a listing?
I genuinely work LA. I lived and performed there before moving to Las Vegas and still take LA dates regularly — it’s a four-hour drive, not a flight.
How is travel charged?
It’s built into the quote. Los Angeles events start at $2,000 with travel included, rather than a lower rate plus a travel line item added later. If an overnight is genuinely required I’ll tell you when I quote.
How far around LA will you go?
I travel up to 300 miles for events, which covers greater Los Angeles, Orange County and out toward San Diego.
Are you insured for LA venues?
Yes, $100,000 liability, and I can send a certificate of insurance directly to your venue or coordinator.
What do you need from our venue?
Nothing at all for strolling magic — no stage, no sound, no lighting, no setup time. A seated set just needs somewhere everyone can see, plus a microphone if the room is large.
How far in advance should we book an LA date?
Earlier than a local booking, since travel has to be scheduled around Las Vegas commitments. If you have a date, it costs nothing to check it.
